Sections Contracting & Trading Ltd is a privately owned company founded by Ali Al-Rubaye, whose vision is centred on development and on creating opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, trading, construction, educational and service projects. Our head office is in London, United Kingdom, with a Middle East branch on Karrada Street in the heart of Baghdad, Iraq.
Since its founding, Sections has undertaken and managed construction works for both public and private projects, earning a strong reputation through customer satisfaction and the founder's commitment to quality, performance and safety. We are proud to provide employment to many skilled engineers and professionals, and we are backed by carefully selected sub-contractors who share our standards.
The Team
Ali Al-Rubaye
Ali founded Sections in 2010 to take his construction and trading experience global. A civil engineer from the University of Baghdad (1993), he specialises in property investment and development, and continues to fund, manage and supervise the company's projects to this day.
Ahmad Al-Shami
A consultant mechanical engineer (Mosul University, 1987), Ahmad deputises for the CEO and oversees accounts and administrative matters.
Ammar Daqqa
Ammar manages the company's financial resources and budget planning, advising the executive team to support sound business decisions.
Hussein Al-Rubaye
Hussein leads on business growth strategy and runs day-to-day matters in the projects for the London branch.
Emad Al-Kahachi
Emad plans and delivers projects within budget and schedule, leading teams, setting goals and seeing each project through to completion.
Harith Tariq Abd
Harith builds the project schedule and appoints the personnel needed to deliver the works on site.
Yousif A. Abbas
Yousif prepares work-progress programmes, follows up delivery against schedule, and reports on project matters with the relevant departments.
Ayad Bashir
Ayad plans delivery to specification, time and cost, analyses project costs and selects suitable companies and sub-contractors.
Ali Kodi Al-Ibodee
Ali provides engineering consultancy and supervises electrical networks (low and high voltage) along with water and sewage networks across all projects.
Mohammed Hasson Kadhim
Mohammed provides legal advice, represents the company in court, and handles matters with official and semi-official departments.
Saad Matar Hussein
Saad manages project plant and machinery — purchase, sale and maintenance — and supports tax matters.
Aras Sabah Hussein
Aras plans and delivers the company's public-relations strategy and represents Sections at company meetings.
Hisham Chouman
Hisham leads human resources — recruitment, staff records and employee relations — and supports the wider management team.
Bashir Gulamhussein
Bashir manages company accounts, ensures correct tax deductions and handles employee remuneration.
Mayasa Jardali
Mayasa plans and delivers marketing and public-relations strategy for the company.
Bassam Sara
Bassam handles account auditing and reconciliation, day-to-day expense control and project budget management.
